Tomorrow Morning at 6am I'm heading out of town with my youth staff team for about 36 hours on a retreat where we're going to reconnect, play and talk about what the summer ministry was like. We had an amazing summer and our Fall Ministry season officially starts this upcoming Sunday.
And we're floating a river. That's something you do here in Texas when its hot and we've now had 17 days of over 100 degree weather.
I've been totally blessed over the years with amazing teams of people to work with. I'm not sure why I get so many opportunities like this. I wish I had the time here to list out everyone I've had the luck to work with in Youth Ministry and tell you how much I loved it. If you were on one of those teams and you are reading this please know you have shaped me and our friendship has made it so great to do this thing.
I love youth ministry. I love hanging out with people that love youth ministry. I'm really looking forward to being with my team the next few days. Just so you can follow along on our journey with us here's a quick e-mail that I was sent with the details. It's pretty tongue in cheek so laugh with us.
