Sunday Sabbath?

I think I can say that Sunday is a sabbath for me. Although I did teach this morning afterwards I went out to lunch with some friends, came home and then took the kids to the pool for a couple hours. After dinner I went and played basketball and followed it up by going to the best driving range in the world. It’s called Top Golf and it’s more like a video game than a driving range. All your balls are coded so they no where you hit them and a scoring machine keeps track. I didn’t score very well tonight but I did knock the crap out of a lot of balls. Probably I’ll do much better next time. I promised Soren I’d take him this week so I need to find some kids golf clubs.

So my Sabbath was all about activity which may not sound good but for me it was a great day.

This week is our 2nd week in a row of our in town Missions projects. Last week we had 35 5-6 graders serving in the city and this week we do the same thing with 35 7-8 graders. Looking forward to it. My role this week is to drive the bus and to teach them on Thursday morning.

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
