So I didn’t have a great time with God today. I did love some of the stuff with church this morning but a couple things drove me nuts too. We started a new series in High School and Junior High today. It is a Crown financial class for our students. Pretty cool that we had a ton of students and a bunch of volunteer small group leaders too. The bummer was when our worship band was trying to lead this morning we had about 30 parents in the back of the room talking and being distracting. It was so bad that one of my students came and told me that if we expected them to worship we were going to have to get the parents to be quiet. Sadly I was in the sound booth running all the media and I almost couldn’t hear the worship band because of the noise. I’m going to talk to them next week so that this doesn’t happen again.
Sunday service at 11:05 was great. I connected with God in a good way and we had communion.
Just finished the Super Bowl. I am not really a fan of either team. I totally get sucked in to the characters of the game and want specific people to win. I wanted Junior Seau to win because he used to be a charger. I wanted Wes Welker to win because he was the roomate of a friend. Sadly none of that happened but I’m happy that the younger brother of Eli won.
