I lived in Los Angeles for 8 years. Because of that I have a few friends that are writers and a part of the writers guild. They are currently on strike seeking better contracts for the work they do. I’m supporting them and want to show my solidarity with them by not writing in my blog for a few days. Now I know not a ton of people read my blog but what I’m going to ask you to do is post comments to this post. Your comments will suffice as my posts for the next few days. Pick interesting things to comment about and make something happen.

Dude, I think it is great that you are standing with your friends. I don’t think it is a small thing to do something like this. I feel that it is like interceding for someone, taking something for them, or standing with them. I hope they see some good results.
It’s 9:17pm. I’ve been on the phone with a “crazy” guy for the past 25 minutes. He wanted to talk to a pastor, between 7-10pm. I finished the bible study tonight and got on the phone because, you never know what you’re going to be calling into. Well, I know now. I guess this can be called ministry. I did a chaplaincy at a psychiatric hospital a year ago. This is like a flashback. Seriously. This guys got flight of ideas, religious preoccupation… I could go on.
I’m not sure this is exactly what you were looking at for a post “comment” but that’s what’s going on right now in my life. Great idea for supporting the writers – but here’s hoping that we still get to see LOST!
