Today is the day that I have been a bit nervous about for a while. My daughter Anneliese goes to a co-op preschool which means parents help teach. I’m about to step into a room with a bunch of two year olds for two hours. Danielle was no help when she told me that last week she basically had to sit and restrain one little boy the whole time. The phrase “the longest two hours of her life” came out of her mouth.
Tonight another scary thing. Danielle and I are speaking to the 20-something group at our church about how to have healthy relationships with people of the opposite sex.
Bring on the two year olds.
by far, 2 hours with 2 year olds is WAY scarier than talking about sex of any kind to 20-somethings. My only advice would have been – drink lots of coffee and don’t fall asleep. You can take that for either. But I’m interested in how the latter went.
