Today it’s raining in Dallas. I like rain. My only complaint is that it is hard to get to work when it rains because both sides of my street end up flowing with water. Today I walked across it 4 times getting Kaije and Anneliese to school.
My plans today are pretty simple. I’m taking a page out of Dan Kimball’s weekly schedule and am purposefully going to a coffee shop to work on my sermon all day. And in an effort to break free of the bubble where I live I’m heading down to Oak Lawn which is a more alternative lifestyle area of Dallas. Sort of like Capital Hill for all you Seattle folks.
