So last night I laid in bed and listened to it rain. It rained all night long. Now I love the rain so I’m not complaining but it is funny to me because I had no idea that it rained this much in Texas. Danielle commented yesterday that it has rained pretty much since we’ve been here.
Now here’s funny. Also last night the power went out at the church because some substation blew up. What is funny is that we are pretty high tech and instead of keys to our youth facility we have swipe cards. Well now power equals no swipe cards which means we can’t get into our offices. So today we all went to breakfast. Kind of nice to get locked out and forced to get out into the community.
Power’s back on now so the big kick off lunches that were all planned today at the church don’t have to happen by candlelight.
