I suppose there are worse places to be stuck. We got to the Burbank airport today with all of our bags and kids and after getting inside we found out that our flight to Dallas was cancelled and we couldn’t leave until the next day. So, we hopped a shuttle to the Holiday Inn and booked a suite for the night. Now we’re watching Star Wars and waiting for some friends to show up. Weather is amazing and at least I’m away from my dusty house with no kitchen for one more night. I’m looking forward to getting home though and getting back to a semblence of normal life for a while. I have no more major trips planned until October so we’ll be home for a while.

- If I had to choose a favorite every 6 month late night snack I'd say chili cheese fritos. I'm enjoying those without chili or cheese #fb 21 hours ago
- I just added up and since school got out today there have been 15 different kids in our house under 6th grade. Love it #fb 23 hours ago

got your message, my phone was and is lost. Good old continental air. I am sick of traveling and being away from the family.

Just make sure you post pictures of your iPhone when you get it this week. Peace
Flew into & out of Burbank’s “Bob Hope – welcome to a 60′s hotel & casino in Vegas” Airport just last week. Skybus flies into it from Columbus. It was a vastly different experience from LAX – not exactly good or bad, except for the terrible Budget rental car counter & shuttle – and the odd baggage claim (indoor/outdoor – kinda scary looking).
If you do want to make a trek up to Columbus – we’ve got a place for you. We may be putting a trip to TX together in the Spring (Feb?) If so, maybe we/I could lengthen it and drop in on you. HOpefully the kitchen will be done by then.
