Ok so this post might cost me some credibility in the church world but I can’t hold back. I feel the need to declare my love (or at least my like) for something that was a big part of my life when I first moved to California. 10m_1

I blame my sisters Erika and Ingrid for getting me hooked. Then my good friend James and I used to watch it every afternoon when we were in Seminary. It doesn’t help that Castle Walsh was only a few blocks away from my first job.

So, there it is. Now you know. It’s off my chest and I feel good about it. I’ll be the first to admit that not everything was great in the show. In fact there were a lot of topics I wish that they’d handled differently. But, they were the first to touch on so many of these issues and they paved the way for many shows.

I never watched the show, but my church is right across the street from “Beverly Hills High”.
On the other hand, I did watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer (which, btw, used the same school as Sunnydale High).
for the curious, the school is Torrance High School–it’s old style good looking and appears in quite a few movies and TV shows.
