This morning Mathew Barnett from The Dream Center spoke. One word….amazing. He shared a point in his life where he felt like God was telling him to reject all that the world was telling him made him significant and instead just care for the people in his neighborhood. Out of that came an amazing story of a church with a great mission to Los Angles.
Incredible. This is the first time I’ve read your blog, but how cool that you talk about this topic. We are up here in Santa Cruz and we are doing a similar teaching series called “We Have A Dream.” Basically it is an attempt to clarify our heart to minister to each other and to the community we live in. It has opened up some great thoughts on reaching out and bringing the church to people rather than bringing people to church.
