Yesterday we toured the temples of Angkor Wat and a couple of others. I wasn’t prepared for how big and impressive they were going to be. Angkor Wat alone was huge. The steps leading up to the central temple were about 100 feet long and at a 75 percent grade. 1/2 way up I sketched out but kept going because I didn’t want to climb down. We also saw the temple where they filmed "Tomb Raider" it was impressive because it was in a jungle and had trees growing out of it. Do a google search for pictures. It was also the hottest day I have ever had in my life.
Today we are taking an 11 hour bus ride from Siem Riep to Sianookville. Once there we start doing ministry in a village called Crocodile Village. The team I am with is super prepared and really excited to minister to children. I’m having a great time but missing my family.
